This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. Job Type: F ull Time Shift(s) Available: 1 st Compensation: $22.00/hr Benefits + Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance + Paid Vacation and Holidays + 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions + Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Tuition Reimbursement + Employee Discounts Principal Accountabilities + Train and operate all equipment associated with the ship/barge loading process: including electrical boxes controlling loading spouts, spoons for trimming holds, forklift, hoist systems, and vessel loading equipment + Perform assigned vessel and barge loading duties including correct grain loaded into correct hold, minimize dust emissions, top off ship holds, and keep slack holds level + Perform housekeeping duties for ship dock and ship gallery areas including sweeping, shoveling, and hosing down, will be exposed to dust/ grain dust + Work at confined spaces under proper permit, conditions and supervision: including vessel holds + Troubleshoot problems, as required + Assist other plant personnel as needed and will perform any other duty as requested by the production supervisor + Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations + Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Basic Requirements + Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship + Must be 18 years or older + Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation + Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) + Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which will include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) + Must be able to operate machinery + Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) + High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience + Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice Preferred Qualifications + Basic computer skills. + Forklift certified + At least 1 year of experience in production related work Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
