Early Intervention CenterGeneral Information: - We, at 123 Baby Talks Developmental Services, LLC are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our Early Intervention Center.- The Assistant Teacher plays a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher and therapists inproviding a nurturing, stimulating, and therapeutic learning environment for young children (ages 2-3 yrs old) with developmental delays or disabilities. This position involves direct interaction with children, assistance with educational and therapeutic activities, and maintaining a safe and organized classroom setting.- The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to support students (age 2-3 yrs old) with diverse needs in a one-on-one setting. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the development of each student.Key Responsibilities:- Assist the teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.- Provide one-on-one support to students during classroom activities and lessons- Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.- Monitor and document student progress and behavior- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop effective teaching strategies.- Support students in developing social and communication skills.- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in early childhood education or special education is a plus.- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.- Basic knowledge of child development and early intervention strategies.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, sit on the floor, and move quickly to ensure child safety.- NYC DOHMH Criminal Background Check Letter of Approval preferred (not required)- We offer a rate of $17.00 per hour for both full-time and part-time roles, and we will provide all necessary training.TO APPLY: E-mail resume to In the subject line of the email you MUST include
