Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this Contract to permanent role, you will assist with various loan processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of lending principles and contribute to the efficiency of loan operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide administrative support to the consumer loan processing team, including updating loan data into the banku2019s systems. u2022 Compile and verify loan documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with company policies. u2022 Confirm that loan files contain accurate signatures, dates, and essential data. u2022 Assist in assembling and organizing documentation for consumer loans. u2022 Ensure timely and accurate data entry for loan processing tasks. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address changes in priorities and workflows. u2022 Maintain a thorough understanding of lending principles and technologies to support operational tasks. u2022 Conduct quality checks on loan files to identify and correct errors. u2022 Handle inquiries and provide support to ensure smooth loan operations. u2022 Adapt to evolving processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in loan administration or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in loan processing, including origination and closing. u2022 Strong understanding of mortgage lending and consumer loan principles. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. u2022 Familiarity with loan systems and technologies is preferred. u2022 Strong communication skills to interact with team members and resolve issues. u2022 Commitment to maintaining compliance with lending regulations and company policies.
