Persistent Systems LLC is seeking aTechnical Trainerresponsible fordeveloping, conducting, and evaluating customer-focusedhands-ontechnical training programs to join our team in New York City.In this dynamic role, you will develop training outlines, presentations, materials, and evaluations for the company’s Wave Relay® training courses. You will alsobe responsible forevaluating training programs on an on-going basis by collecting feedback from customers and working with internal teams to ensure maximally effective training programs. Position ResponsibilitiesDeliveringcomprehensive training programs for customer-focused Wave Relay® coursesDeveloping training outlines, presentations, course handouts, and knowledge/skills testsDeveloping and conducting training effectiveness evaluations to continually enhance the company’s customer-focused training programs,includingonline training contentMentoring instructors to enhance customer-focused training programsEnsuring all training programs and courses meet business needs and quality standardsConducting needs assessments,anticipatefuture training needs, and plan accordinglyDirecting and delivering classroom training alongside Field Application EngineersManage course enrollmentsand attendanceMinimumQualificationsTechnical degree or equivalent knowledge/skills, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineeringor Military CommunicationsExperience conducting and evaluating customer-focused trainingin a classroom environmentor experience speaking to groups of peopleUnderstanding of networking and IP schemingMust be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the timeMust have the ability to obtainandmaintaina United States security clearance Preferred QualificationsUnderstanding of radio frequencies (RF) and wireless communicationsKnowledge of mobile ad hoc networking (MANET)Networking Certification (Networks+, Security+, CCNA etc.)Experience with Wave Relay® productsExperience conducting training for both commercial and government customersActive United States security clearanceThe base pay for this role can vary from$133,000 to $166,000a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
