Die Repair Technician A well-established manufacturing facility in Edinburgh is growing and looking to add a Die Repair Technician to their Maintenance team! If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, problem solving, and building/repairing precision tools, this could be a great fit for you. Pay/Benefits: Up to $25/hr based on experience Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401k, Vacation, PTO Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 12am Overtime as needed Company Info: Established manufacturing facility located in Edinburgh Team-oriented maintenance department with opportunities to grow your skill set Job Duties: Build fixtures using tools and dies; create dies as needed to support production Repair and rebuild dies, molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble tooling components Read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics Inspect completed dies and tools for defects that impact performance Test equipment and tooling to ensure proper setup and functionality Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Perform additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned Experience with CAD software or welding (TIG/MIG) is a plus Requirements: Minimum 6 months of die repair or die maintenance experience Proficiency using hand tools and measuring equipment Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Knowledge of metallic properties is helpful Able to work independently and alongside engineers and machinists Easy Ways to Apply: Call 812-379-8241 to complete an initial interview.
