As the Office Coordinator for our Therapy Department, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience for every individual who walks through our doors. What you will do: The Office Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of all front desk operations for the Therapy Division. Supports Therapy office responsibilities, including: + Manages therapy scheduling and registration, including gathering patient information, selecting appropriate clinicians, verifying insurance, and collecting copays. + Handles reception duties such as greeting patients, managing calls, scheduling/rescheduling, directing visitors, and performing general office/secretarial tasks. + Completes caseu2011management functions including obtaining authorizations, managing medical/legal information requests, processing evaluations, and supporting quality improvement activities. + Supports departmental operations by coordinating meetings, referrals, and communications; using office software effectively; assisting new staff; and performing additional assigned duties. What you will need: + HS Diploma or equivalent + Prior administrative or office coordination experience + u200b Five years' experience in an outpatient or hospital setting is preferred. Experience working with interdisciplinary team with an emphasis on rehabilitation services. + Case management skills and/or certification in case management preferred. + Proficient in computer and word processing skills. Knowledge in practice billing, coding and reimbursement criteria for Rehabilitation Services.
