Role Overview Laradon is seeking a creative, community-minded, and energetic intern for Summer 2026 (May-August). This dual-focus role offers hands-on experience in both Nonprofit Communications and Volunteer Management. You wonu2019t just be observing; you will be the voice of our mission, helping us tell the stories of the individuals we serve and building the volunteer force that makes our work possible. Tasks and duties the internship include, but are not limited to: u2022 Support the growth of Laradonu2019s volunteer program through recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing communication. u2022 Assist with day-of volunteer logistics for groups and events to ensure smooth operations and positive experiences. u2022 Supporting the communications manager with creating unique and interesting content for Laradonu2019s social media channelsu2014 Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & LinkedIn u2022 Creating content for the blog on a monthly basis. This includes setting up interviews, taking photos, interviewing, writing and posting the story u2022 Supporting the Communications Coordinator in creating a successful Disability Pride Month Campaign for the month of July. + Help design and execute consistent marketing materials, fundraising appeals, and social media blitzes to celebrate our community.
