AT A GLANCELocation: Montara, CaliforniaEmployment Type: Part-Time, W-2Schedule: 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday preferred)Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMGuaranteed Hours: 24 hours per weekCompensation: $40-$45 per hour, depending on experienceStart Date: As soon as possiblePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESExterior & Grounds MaintenanceFull upkeep and care of a 2-acre coastal propertyGardening, planting, and seasonal plant care — including tree planting and established tree maintenanceWorking knowledge of irrigation systems, including basic troubleshooting and adjustmentsPower washing of hardscape, patios, walkways, and exterior surfacesGutter cleaning and routine exterior inspectionsCobweb removal from exterior structuresStorm cleanup — debris removal and post-storm property assessmentSeasonal furniture arrangement and repositioning of patio piecesCar cleaning and light vehicle careSealing fences and occasional exterior paintingAwareness of coastal plant species and how salt air, wind, and moisture affect growth and upkeepLight Interior & Handyman SupportMaintain a running punch list of small interior tasks for use during inclement weather or storm seasonChange air filters, vacuum vents, and address similar routine interior maintenanceLight handyman tasks as needed — changing light bulbs, minor fixes, and general household upkeepOccasional support to the housekeeper when interior assistance is neededFuture Pet SupportThe family plans to welcome a small dog to their home in the future. The ideal candidate is physically fit and comfortable with sustained outdoor work.
