Achieve more with VoltVolt is hiring an Assembly / General Labor Associate for a leading manufacturing company in Aurora, Colorado.As an Assembly / General Labor Associate, you will:Follow all established safe work practices and promptly report unsafe or hazardous conditions to the supervisorWear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all general warehouse and shop rulesPerform general labor and hands on assembly duties throughout production and warehouse areas as assignedAssemble, prepare, and label shipping cartons according to packaging and customer specificationsRetrieve rolls of fiberglass insulation in the correct thickness and cut materials into fitted pieces using chop units (training provided)Pull required PVC fittings and materials from inventory or in-process storage locationsVerify product, carton quantities, and palletized shipments; accept approved returns and complete receiving documentationDeny receipt of inbound shipments that do not meet receiving requirementsOperate forklifts on an as needed basis to support material movement throughout the facility (certification helpful but not required; training available)Load, unload, stage, and transport materials in accordance with safety guidelines when forklift assistance is requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; ensure workstations are cleaned at the end of each shiftPerform housekeeping duties and remove scrap and garbage to plant compactors as assignedReport equipment malfunctions, production delays, or product defects immediately to the supervisor or team leadPerform trimming, flipping, and other department-assigned tasks as directedIndependently execute Cut & Curl assembly functions, including roll loading/unloading, cut to length operations, manual and semi automated SSL application, core rolling and stuffing, oven loading and control, quality inspections, carton packing, labeling, and completion of production paperworkPrepare jacketing rolls and perform additional duties as directed by managementThe ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious assembly or general labor experience preferredWillingness to obtain forklift certification (previous experience is helpful but not required)Ability to work flexible assignments and adapt to changing prioritiesEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast paced, safety focused production environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the shiftWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork performed on the production plant floorTemperatures range from 70u00b0F to 115u00b0FPackaging duties involve exposure to fiberglass insulationAbility to stand for extended periods on concrete floorsAbility to walk, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders or staircasesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as requiredMust be physically capable of performing all essential job functionsSchedule:7:00 AM - 3:30 PMOvertime may be required; shift may start or end 30 minutes earlier or laterPay Rate:$18.00 per hourPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
