Position Summary: The Mental Health Counseling (MHC) MA Program at Yeshiva University's Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology seeks to hire a full-time Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor and Program Director to start Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to graduate training and supervision of graduate students. Strong preference is given to applicants with experience teaching courses in mental health counseling and/or in psychology, and in program administration at the graduate level. Position Responsibilities: Teaching required MHC courses Academic advising Curriculum development Duties related to college & program committee assignments Experience & Educational Background: Strong track record of active training and clinical involvement Knowledge of mental health counseling accreditation standards Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas Commitment to working in a multicultural setting Skills & Competencies: Record of teaching excellence Demonstrated scholarly productivity PhD or PsyD Licensed (or license eligible) in New York State as a Psychologist or Mental Health Counselor, and/or having a national counselor credential Record of teaching excellence Demonstrated scholarly productivity PhD or PsyD Licensed (or license eligible) in New York State as a Psychologist or Mental Health Counselor, and/or having a national counselor credential Application Instructions: Please upload a cover letter, a Curriculum Vitae (CV), sample teaching evaluations if available, and contact information for 3 professional references.
