Lewis & Clark County Public Works is hiring for a Lead Custodian- Deep Cleaner. Under general supervision from the Buildings Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs routine custodial, deep cleaning, and maintenance duties in County buildings and acts as a lead worker.Pay: $20.2 - $23.77 / HourWho We AreThe Building Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the following County-owned buildings.RequirementsThe knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position are acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation and one (1) year facility maintenance or janitorial/cleaning experience. One (1) year of lead worker experience preferred.Special RequirementsMust pass a pre-employment background check and have a valid drivers license.Physical DemandsDuties are generally performed in both indoor and outdoor environments where hazards and discomforts are generally controlled and modifiable. Position performs work in all types of weather in the presence of chemicals, fertilizers, and dust. This position must be able to stand, twist, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 100 pounds on a brief and random basis.
