What you will be doingProvide quality beverages consistently for all customers, preparingStarbucks beverages to standard. Maintain condition and cleanliness ofwork area. Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, andstoring all products. Ascertain guest satisfaction; in the event ofdissatisfaction, tactfully negotiate an accommodation. Comply withaccounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, cash drawer andhouse bank management. Balance house bank at the end of the shift.Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard outlet cleaningproducts as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards. Whatwe are looking for: Must be able to work a varied schedule to includedays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work underpressure. Previous hospitality, barista, cashiering or customer serviceexperience is preferred. Must be able to learn all menu items andup-selling techniques. Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate acash register, make change, count total bank, prepare cash drops, andtotal all other charges. Ability to effectively resolve conflictsituations, such as inaccurate check total. Ability to read and speakEnglish sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, andcommunicate with guests. Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Saleprocedures to handle cashier functions. What's in it for you?
