Description: You will be the SMT Operator for the SMT Assembly team at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for operating and maintaining the surfaceu2011mount technology (SMT) production line. What You Will Be Doing As the SMT Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the SMT line runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Perform all necessary tasks associated with the setup, running and daily maintenance of the SMT assembly line + Achieve the defined quality and HPU standards for assigned work + Assembler would operate various equipment such as but not limited to selective solder machine, wave solder machine, wash and coating equipment + Perform hand population of complex circuit cards and the soldering and touchup of new and existing product + Form Components and hand or machine populate circuit cards + Perform detailed soldering operations on micro and sub miniature components and parts as assigned + Responsible for setting up and operating equipment to properly process PWBs + Ability to perform all jobs within work area + Perform work while utilizing drawings, schematics, engineering documentation and models + Ability to complete complex rework operations to written Engineering direction + Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities + Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements + Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assemblies + Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met + Work to ESD Requirements + Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the product + Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. + Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned Why Join Us The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detailu2011oriented professional who thrives in a fastu2011paced manufacturing environment. Basic Qualifications: u2022 High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of related electro-mechanical assembly experience u2022 Ability to make stencils for marking operations and properly apply required marking to printed wire boards and assemblies. u2022 The ability to interpret electro/mechanical assembly drawings and follow work instructions u2022 Work independently with minimal input from Manufacturing Engineer, Supervisor, or Group leader. u2022 Ability to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required u2022 Experience using a variety hand tools and measuring devices u2022 Ability to become certified in any required skills or processes u2022 Ability to become certified in JSTSTD Coating u2022 Assist in the training of employees as assigned u2022 Basic computer skills u2022 Must be a US Citizen due to facility access Desired Skills: u2022 OJT certification in all work cell tasks u2022 Previous experience on cable and harness manufacturing u2022 Previous Circuit card manufacturing experience u2022 Previous certification in industry standards Clearance Level: None Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
