This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee comprehensive accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment and contribute to the company's financial stability and growth. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including month-end close processes and preparation of work papers and trial balances. u2022 Review financial statements and the general ledger to ensure accuracy and alignment with company standards. u2022 Prepare daily cash reports and download bank activity from multiple accounts. u2022 Examine check requests for proper coding and accuracy before processing. u2022 Create and post recurring journal entries into the general ledger system. u2022 Reconcile selected asset and liability accounts to ensure documentation matches general ledger balances. u2022 Manage loan information and produce monthly loan schedules. u2022 Supervise and review the work of accounting staff to maintain high-quality standards. u2022 Administer the company's 401(k) plan and ensure compliance with regulations. u2022 Monitor and review payroll transactions and ensure proper general ledger entries are recorded.
