Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Kinston, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing essential accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Perform detailed bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly. u2022 Handle payroll and billing functions while adhering to company policies. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Collaborate with the finance team to generate reports and support decision-making. u2022 Utilize accounting software systems effectively to streamline operations. u2022 Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company standards. u2022 Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. u2022 Provide support for audits and other financial reviews. u2022 Ensure the accuracy of all financial data and documentation. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. u2022 Proficiency in using accounting software systems. u2022 Familiarity with payroll processes and journal entries. u2022 Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
