Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage financial operations for our client's organization in Lonoke, Arkansas. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cost accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards. The Controller will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial management and reporting. The salary range for this role is $120,000u2013$150,000, depending on experience + a very competitive bonus. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring all deadlines are met. u2022 Prepare, review, and finalize monthly financial statements along with supporting schedules. u2022 Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure supporting documentation is accurate. u2022 Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure efficient operations. u2022 Maintain standard cost structures, perform cost rolls, and investigate inventory variances. u2022 Oversee physical inventory counts and support inventory valuation processes. u2022 Ensure payroll processing and reporting are accurate, and maintain oversight of employee benefits. u2022 Monitor cash balances, initiate payments, and assist with treasury reporting. u2022 Support credit and collections efforts, including reviewing customer creditworthiness and managing aging accounts receivable. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. u2022 Proficiency in maintaining general ledger and reconciling accounts accurately. u2022 Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration. u2022 Ability to initiate and manage cash transactions, including checks and wire transfers. u2022 Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments and reporting teams. u2022 Proven ability to implement and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting. u2022 Familiarity with credit and collections processes, including customer credit reviews.
