Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly. u2022 Oversee tenant payment processing, ledger reconciliation, and assist with billing and collection efforts. u2022 Process vendor invoices accurately, ensuring expenses are allocated to the correct properties and accounts. u2022 Prepare and post recurring journal entries, including those for payroll and management fees. u2022 Collaborate with property management and leasing teams to maintain accurate tenant records. u2022 Support special projects and initiatives, contributing to the improvement of accounting processes. u2022 Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure smooth financial operations. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks for efficient data entry and financial tracking. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during financial transactions. u2022 Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure clarity and accuracy in accounting tasks. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Skilled in invoice processing and data entry with attention to detail. u2022 Knowledge of journal entries and general accounting principles. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet recurring deadlines. u2022 Effective communication abilities for collaboration with diverse teams.
