Position Description: Surgical Technologist Department Pool + The Surgical Technologist Department Pool is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of an RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Position Details: Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens Status: Pool, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm Weekend Work: None On Call: No Requirements: + High School Diploma or Equivalent + Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program + CST (Surgical Tech) certification + Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Specific Skills: + Must have knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up as well as laser equipment use and maintenance. + Equipment use and maintenance appropriate for position + Clinical skills appropriate to position + Interpersonal skills Why BayCare?
