Whether facilitating a large industrial complex, commercial/residential development, or planning a mixed-use establishment in a business district, joining Colliers Engineering & Design will accelerate YOUR success Responsibilities + Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity. + Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and manpower required on projects. + Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects. + Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects. + Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, schedule of events and an estimation of manpower requirements as necessary. + Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development. + Hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work. + Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisorsu2019 approval. + Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates (i.e. Project team meetings). + Review monthly man-hour and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the predetermined profit goal. + Ensure everyone involved is working in accordance with all project planning and profit control procedures. + Ensure that all budgets affecting the project schedule and/or fee budget are discussed with the client. Ensure that all out-of-scope work and associated feeds are approved by the client prior to performing the services. + Solicit help and involvement from Department Managers and any other managers to troubleshoot any technical problems. + Works efficiently with the Billing Department to authorize and transmit bills to client. Follows up with clients for timely payments. + Mentor Project Managers and junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives. + Adhere to Health and Safety program and all applicable SOPs. + Review time sheets of direct reports during a specified reporting period. + Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy. + May oversee the activities of assigned staff, including but not limited to timesheet review and approval, performance evaluation and daily supervision. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in a related field. + 8+ years of experience in related field. + Professional licensure in area of expertise. + Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations. + Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading and other site development related designs. + Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD. + Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies. + Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. + Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities. + Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment. + Construction oversight experience a plus. + Dedicated, responsive, and organized. + Possess a valid driveru2019s license. + Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
