Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Flint, Michigan. In this role, you will provide critical support for legal and contractual matters within the real estate industry, focusing on sales and leases. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-level projects and collaborate with legal professionals. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and organize real estate contracts, leases, amendments, and related agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Facilitate the execution and tracking of development contracts and other legal documents. u2022 Maintain well-organized files for contracts and legal documentation to support efficient access and review. u2022 Assist in preparing documentation for legal claims related to development projects and interactions with federal agencies. u2022 Compile supporting materials, timelines, and project records for external legal counsel. u2022 Draft preliminary summaries and supporting documents for attorney review to aid in legal claims. u2022 Conduct legal research to support various real estate transactions and claims. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders to ensure all legal documents meet regulatory and business requirements. u2022 Analyze and organize information related to federal contracts and compliance. u2022 Provide general legal support for commercial real estate transactions and agreements. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in real estate or corporate law. u2022 Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources. u2022 Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions and contracts. u2022 Experience working with federal contracts and compliance documentation. u2022 Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal contracts, leases, and amendments. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation. u2022 Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with attorneys, stakeholders, and external counsel.
