We are seeking aHospital Maintenance Technician III,alsoreferredto asaPlant Operations TechnicianIIIorBoiler Operator III.The Hospital Maintenance Tech IIIis responsible foradvanced maintenance and repairs on hospital systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment to ensure a safe and operational healthcare environment. This role also supports emergency response, preventive maintenance, and facility projects while coordinating with staff and contractors to minimize disruption to patient care.Shift’s Available:DaysEmployment Type:Full TimeHours:8-hour shifts - 7:00am to 3:30pm when on call 8:00am to 4:30pm when not on callLocation: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TXHere are some of the benefits of working atPrime Healthcare:Health, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid vacation, sicktimeand holidaysBereavement leave, FMLA and other leave optionsEmployer 401K optionsTuition reimbursement optionsLife, disability, and other insurance optionsMany other amazing benefitsEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical,medical gas,and other systemsQuickly respond to emergency repair requests, such as system malfunctions or equipment breakdowns, to restore hospital operations without compromising patient careRegularly inspect and test critical hospital safety systems such as backup generators, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and life safety equipment to ensure they are functional and compliant with safety standardsPreventative Maintenance, during regular inspections and checks to prevent breakdowns, like lubricating motors, testing generators, or checking emergency lightingAssistwith hospital renovation and construction projects; coordinate work with contractors as neededBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 1. Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred2. Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.3. Valid state driver’s license.4. Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)5.
