Pay Rate: $18 Shift: Fri - Sun 6am - 6pm Location: Hanover Twp We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bandsaw Operator to support fabrication and production operations in a piling and heavy materials environment. This role is responsible for accurately measuring and cutting steel materials using industrial bandsaw equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate industrial bandsaws to cut steel piling and related materials to specified dimensions Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and cut lists Measure, mark, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Adjust saw settings such as blade speed, feed rate, and coolant flow as required Monitor equipment during operation and identify any issues or malfunctions Perform routine equipment checks, blade changes, and basic preventative maintenance Safely handle heavy materials using cranes, hoists, or forklifts (as trained) Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and internal policies Communicate effectively with supervisors and production team members to meet deadlines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience operating industrial bandsaws or similar cutting equipment Experience working with steel, pipe, or heavy industrial materials is a plus Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and blueprints Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Strong understanding of shop safety practices Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs (with assistance or equipment as needed) Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations Skills & Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Time management and dependability Safety-conscious mindset Team-oriented with strong communication skills Willingness to learn and follow processes What We Offer Stable, long-term employment opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to grow within a skilled trade environment Supportive team and safety-focused workplace Contact us 570-208-7000 (call or text)
