Notable projects include Formula 1 and City Center projects in Las Vegas for MGM, data center projects, T-Mobile Arena, UNLV, DAS Projects for 5G services as well as high end retail stores such as Gucci, Fendi, Neiman Marcus and Tapestry. _Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent_ DESCRIPTION: As an Estimating Intern at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to: receive guidance from estimating team to learn the concepts and process of conceptual estimates & budgets up to $1M, develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions, and actively assist the project team toward the answers. + Assist in estimating tasks for technical, healthcare, or industrial projects + Support the development of conceptual estimates and budgets + Help review proposal scopes to ensure accurate cost estimates + Assist in detailed cost analysis, identifying questions or missing information + Review contract documents to understand scope changes and cost impacts + Gain hands-on experience with estimating software (McCormick, Bluebeam) + Perform basic estimate take-offs under guidance + Develop foundational knowledge of NEC and industry standards REQUIREMENTS: + Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field + Foundational understanding of engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, McCormick, and Acrobat is a plus. + Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to perform accurate quantity take-offs. _Fisk Electric builds extraordinary projects and we need exceptional talent.
