Job Description Fluor is hiring an Apprentice Electrician to support the Facilities Operations and Maintenance project. No related electrical experience required. Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph u2022 May be able to start in position while clearance process is ongoing u2022 Must be able to complete a four-year curriculum, with a passing score of 70% each semester u2022 Continued employment is contingent upon meeting minimum performance requirements of the electrical shop, continued enrollment in the apprentice program, continued submittal of apprenticeship requirements to the state, continuous improvement on electrical skills and knowledge u2022 Installing and connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components and systems u2022 Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems u2022 Troubleshoot motor and control systems u2022 Cutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materials u2022 Terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices u2022 Other duties as required Starting Salary Rate: $25 to $30 hourly + $4.98/hourly Fringe #Intel Basic Job Requirements u2022 High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. u2022 Be able to obtain and maintain a valid Apprentice Electrician license in the state of Colorado u2022 To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. u2022 Position requires the basic physical ability necessary, to include, but not limited to the ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders and/or crouch for long periods of time to perform assigned job functions. u2022 Position requires problem solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
