Adecco is hiring immediately for a CNC Programmer in Escondido, CA. CNC Programmers are responsible for the creation of cost-effective CNC machine programs and tooling diagrams for prototype and production parts under minimal supervision and tight timelines with starting pay at $ 30.00/hr. Schedule: Monday u2013 Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Act as a liaison with R&D team in the new products development phase, including initial prototyping and ultimately manufacturing transfer at a scaled-up level. u00b7 At the direction of manufacturing management, perform maintenance and optimization of existing machining processes. u00b7 Study specifications such as blueprints dimensions, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials, cutting tools required, and machines to be used to fabricate prototype parts or final manufactured parts. u00b7 Determining optimal machining methods and sequence of operations to limit variability, extend tool life, decrease machine cycle times, curb the need for secondary operation (i.e. deburring), and ultimately reduce manufacturing costs. u00b7 Development and verification/validation of CNC machine programs and set-up parameters for prototypes, new parts, or updates to existing part processing. Create documentation as required. u00b7 Understanding machine/program capabilities, assist in the development/optimization of control plans to ensure the machining output meets specification with a high degree of assurance. u00b7 Train machinists and set up crew on machining methods for new or optimized machining processes. u00b7 Assist in trouble shooting day to day machining issues. u00b7 Audit machining process to improve efficiency, process control, and quality. u00b7 Proficient with SolidWorks or similar CAD software and geometric dimension & tolerances (GD&T). u00b7 Maintain a positive work atmosphere. u00b7 Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement. u00b7 Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Education and/or Experience: u00b7 1 to 3 years of hands on CNC machining knowledge, including introductory programming experience of machining equipment or similar. u00b7 Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches. u00b7 Ability to understand and manipulate G and M Code. u00b7 Demonstrated proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD software and geometric dimension & tolerances (GD&T). u00b7 Proficiency in effectively installing and changing tooling, setting up parts, and editing programs for Citizen CNC Swiss Screw Machines. u00b7 Previous experience working in a cGMP and/or ISO regulated environment. u00b7 Ability to work independently, as well as with an interdisciplinary teams. u00b7 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent, some college or certificate course work highly preferred. Physical Requirements: u00b7 Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, talk or hear, and smell continually. Ability to stand, walk and reach frequently. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally. u00b7 Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs. u00b7 Close vision required to use microscope, read documents, and operate machine. Distance vision required to drive an automobile, if driving is a requirement of the job. u00b7 Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. u00b7 Moderate noise levels as found in a light industrial environment, office environment, households with TVs and dishwashers, and driving light traffic.
