Description We are looking for a skilled Appellate Attorney to join a thriving law firm in Michigan. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in appellate work while contributing to a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing abilities and a minimum of three years of experience in civil litigation. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other documents related to appellate cases. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments. u2022 Prepare for and participate in appellate proceedings, ensuring adherence to procedural requirements. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case strategies and legal arguments. u2022 Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing or future cases. Requirements u2022 Minimum of three years of experience in an appellate litigation practice. u2022 Proficiency in drafting legal briefs and conducting legal research. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively. u2022 Familiarity with appellate procedures and court processes. u2022 Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan. u2022 Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in legal practice.
