Description Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and provide strategic guidance for a manufacturing company based in Rockwood, Tennessee. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. You will play a key role in optimizing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting to support organizational goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and monitor all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. u2022 Analyze manufacturing costs and implement standard cost accounting practices to improve efficiency. u2022 Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts to guide financial decision-making. u2022 Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost savings. u2022 Oversee auditing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting and documentation. u2022 Utilize Power BI and other tools to generate insightful financial reports. u2022 Manage the bill of materials (BOM) process to ensure proper cost allocation. u2022 Lead cycle count processes to maintain inventory accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budget processes and manufacturing cost accounting. u2022 Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data to support business objectives.
