Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflightThis role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will design and build the Hardware and software test assets for our Lunar Lander. The test assets will provide an environment to integrate the electronics and software for system development, verification, and validation. This will include software simulations and hardware emulators, as well as software for interfacing with these simulators and emulators.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe humanspaceflight.Passionfor our mission and vision is requiredResponsibilities:Design and code automated test equipment software to support formal and informal verification of avionics requirements (qualification and acceptance testing)Participate in the requirements, design, and architectureDevelop software for various prototype objectivesIntegrate software models, sensor drivers, and hardware emulatorsSupport the integration of flight avionics, operator consoles, and test equipment to verify the requirements and performance of the flight softwareSupport problem investigation and resolutionEstablish and follow software development processes to ensure test equipment software is reliable, released and configuration managedMinimum Qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree5+ years of relevant experienceProficiency troubleshooting analog and digital hardware with bench measurement equipment and data acquisition equipmentExperience with Linux and other Unix-style operating systemsProficiency with Devops tools such as Gitlab, Docker, Jenkins, and ArtifactoryProficiency with higher-level programming languages such as Python or C/C++Strong software development skills and debuggingDeep understanding of software engineering principles and design patternsPreferred Qualifications:Master of Science in Computer Science8+ years of relevant experienceExperience with Software Requirements DevelopmentExperience planning, executing, and reporting electronics testingFamiliarity with sensors including linear variable differential transformers, resistance temperature detectors, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and resolversExperience with NASA tools cFS and TrickExperience with IP networking (IEEE 802.3)Experience with communications protocol RS-422/485Experience with distributed simulation implementation standards such as HLA or DISExperience with DO-178, NPR-7150, or similar guidelinesExperience with mission operations and ground data systemsCompensation Range for:WA applicants is $164,652.00 - $230,512.80Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
