Description Internship Summary: This position involves supporting the C+FS PR and Development team on Public Relations projects. Major Responsibilities/Activities May Include but are not limited to: + Writing: + Press Releases + Media Advisories + Articles for C+FS website + Articles for C+FS Intranet + Graphic Design: + Flyers + Banners + Brochures + Social Media + Communications: + Internal and external messaging + Pitching story ideas for the media + Development: + Assist Development Team with donor prospecting + Utilize Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge to help manage donor portfolios + Help accept donations in support of the Development team receiving in-kind gifts to help facilitate building donor relationships + Assist the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation and donation drives as needed. Education Requirements: + In an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing. + Enrollment in a credit bearing program. Schedule: + Flexible scheduling but must be able to work at the office location during work hours. This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
