Working closely with the Farm Superintendent and research staff, youu2019ll help design and implement field and greenhouse trials, support integrated disease, weed, and insect management efforts, and coordinate equipment and research supplies. This position offers hands-on involvement in applied agricultural research and the chance to contribute to projects that directly impact growers, students, and the broader horticulture industry.The UK Horticulture Research Farm is a dynamic 105-acre research and teaching facility located in Lexington, KY. The farm supports both organic and conventional vegetable production systems and includes research programs in tree fruits, small fruits, viticulture, controlled-environment greenhouse production, and nursery crops. In addition to research activities, the farm hosts a thriving organic farm that supports student training through hands-on apprenticeships and a 250-member Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, connecting the university directly with the local community.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, collaborating with a research team, and contributing to meaningful agricultural research and education.
