We have built, maintained, and enhanced multiple solutions over the years for our client, deploying to AWS. The client consistently relies on our experienced teams to address new challenges using emerging technologies. We are seeking a senior DevSecOps engineer who can quickly learn new technologies to enhance existing systems while gaining a strong understanding of the client ecosystem. You will deploy all applications to the cloud using automated CI/CD pipelines, so understanding the importance of testu2011driven development is essential. The ability to take ownership and drive completion of programu2011wide infrastructure initiatives is critical. This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your future duties and responsibilities: u2022 Build CI/CD pipelines for microservices, applications, and supporting components. u2022 Develop standard CI/CD approaches across supported teams and the application portfolio. u2022 Optimize system availability while minimizing AWS costs and supporting all required teams. u2022 Manage security requirements, including patching, to maintain existing security authorizations. u2022 Analyze system logs to perform rootu2011cause analysis of performance or infrastructure issues. u2022 Participate in design meetings with other projects and the clientu2019s technical specialists. u2022 Collaborate with agile teams to design, build, and deliver cloudu2011based solutions. u2022 Coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than three) teams. u2022 Participate in daily standu2011ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other agile ceremonies. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: u2022 Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance. u2022 10+ years of development experience in Information Technology, focused on DevSecOps, DevOps, and AWS. u2022 Expert skills in GitHub and Linux administration. u2022 Experience with Terraform, AWS, and Splunk. u2022 Experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Ansible, or Harness.io. u2022 Experience delivering within Agile development teams and strong familiarity with Scrum and/or Kanban. u2022 Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Javau2011based microservices using Maven or Gradle. u2022 Experience building CI/CD pipelines for web applications using Node.js, Angular, or React. u2022 Strong analytical and problemu2011solving skills. u2022 Strong communication skills.
