Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. Responsibilities: u2022 Enter approved invoices into the system with speed and precision. u2022 Reconcile vendor invoices, addressing and resolving any discrepancies promptly. u2022 Verify invoice details to ensure accuracy before payment processing. u2022 Apply proper coding to invoices to maintain organized financial records. u2022 Scan and store invoice documents, ensuring they are easily accessible for future reference. u2022 Assist in the preparation and mailing of checks to vendors. u2022 Maintain accurate records of transactions and support general filing duties. u2022 Post journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial data. u2022 Utilize software tools such as Great Plains Dynamics and Excel to manage financial tasks effectively. u2022 Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned to support the accounts payable team. Requirements u2022 Minimum of six months of general accounting or data entry experience, with preference for accounts payable expertise. u2022 Proficient in handling a high volume of invoices, with the ability to process 100-200 invoices daily. u2022 Strong attention to detail and fast, accurate data entry capabilities. u2022 Basic knowledge of Excel and familiarity with integrated computer systems. u2022 Ability to work efficiently with tools such as Great Plains Dynamics. u2022 Skilled in scanning, copying, filing, and other administrative tasks. u2022 Comfortable with preparing and mailing checks to vendors.
