In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to the organizationu2019s strategic goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and property management accounting. u2022 Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with industry standards and deadlines. u2022 Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes to ensure financial stability. u2022 Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring timely and precise processing. u2022 Coordinate annual audits and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors. u2022 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements, including tax filings. u2022 Reconcile bank accounts and monitor investment activity to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Develop and implement robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. u2022 Collaborate with property managers, executive leadership, and ownership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. u2022 Utilize property management and accounting software, such as Yardi or QuickBooks, to streamline financial processes. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role within the real estate industry. u2022 Strong proficiency in property management and accounting software, including Yardi or QuickBooks. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance. u2022 Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. u2022 Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners. u2022 Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration processes.
