Job#: 3025970Job Description:?OverviewThe Smartsheet Design and Reporting SME will support program leadership by designing, building, and maintaining advanced dashboards, reports, and automated workflows within Smartsheet. This role ensures program visibility, data accuracy, and actionable insights for multiple workstreams. Candidates must be proficient in Smartsheet administration and experienced in translating operational needs into scalable, user-friendly reporting solutions.Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain interactive Smartsheet dashboards to track program deliverables, KPIs, milestones, and risks.- Develop reporting structures that consolidate data across multiple sheets, workspaces, and programs.- Create and optimize automated workflows, including alerts, updates, and approval structures.- Serve as a subject-matter expert on Smartsheet best practices, governance, and data standards.- Partner with program managers, PMO, operations, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into dashboard/report designs.- Manage Smartsheet permissions, user access, sharing policies, and workspace organization.- Troubleshoot sheet formulas, cross-sheet references, data issues, and workflow breakdowns.- Ensure data quality and integrity across all program assets.- Provide training and user support to team members leveraging Smartsheet tools.Required Skills & Experience- 3--5+ years of experience with Smartsheet development, dashboards, and reporting.- Proficiency with:- Dashboard widgets- Summary fields- Sheet/report formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, JOIN, COLLECT, etc.)- Cross-sheet references- Automated workflows- Experience administering Smartsheet workspaces, permissions, groups, and sharing settings.- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into elegant, scalable reporting solutions.- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.- Excellent communication skills and comfort supporting program leadership.Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
