Shift:Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm Job Purpose: The Assistant Parts Managerwill direct and coordinate counter and outside sales, shipping andreceiving, selling, and distributing truck parts to customers atrequired levels of profitability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Honor Commitment: Deliver exceptional customer service for our retailparts business, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction andexceeding expectations. Keep customers informed on the status of specialorder and back-order parts, fulfilling promises and maintainingtransparent communication. Manage inventory levels to achieve targetturns while minimizing stockouts and lost sales, demonstrating acommitment to efficient inventory management and meeting sales goals.Create Positive Experiences: Greet customers and assist in partsselection, creating a welcoming and helpful environment for customers.Answer questions, provide price quotes, inform of companion partrequirements and specials in-person and over the phone, offeringknowledgeable and friendly service. Handle customer returns effectivelyand with empathy, ensuring a positive resolution to any issues. FosterLife-Long Learning: Continuously expand knowledge of parts, theirapplications, and industry trends to provide expert advice to customers.Proactively seek feedback from customers and colleagues to identifyareas for improvement and enhance service. Participate in trainingprograms and industry events to stay informed about new products andtechnologies in the parts sector.
