Job Description

Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing highu2011volume accounts payable transactions while delivering excellent customer service to internal departments and external vendors. This role supports the organizationu2019s financial operations by ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, compliance with accounting policies, and proper documentation. The ideal candidate is detailu2011oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fastu2011paced, teamu2011based environment. Key responsibilities include entering and auditing disbursement transactions within a fully integrated accounts payable system, reviewing invoices for accuracy and required approvals, and processing daily check runs. The position also supports audits, maintains vendor records, reconciles vendor statements, and serves as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries. Accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage deadlines are critical to success in this role The salary range for this position is $65k to $85k. Requirements Requirements & Qualifications + High school diploma required; Associateu2019s degree or equivalent preferred + Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience in a highu2011volume, largeu2011organization environment preferred + Proven experience processing a high volume of invoices daily with strong accuracy + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word + Strong data entry skills with a high level of speed and accuracy + Solid understanding of invoice documentation, account coding, and audit support + Experience with vendor statement reconciliations and discrepancy resolution + Knowledge of Wu20119 review and 1099 maintenance processes + Excellent customer service and communication skills + Strong organizational, timeu2011management, and prioritization abilities + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team + High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality + Strong problemu2011solving, analytical, and decisionu2011making skills + Ability to meet deadlines in a fastu2011paced environmen Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
