Job Title

We are seeking experienced Certified Medical Coders to join our team, specializing in outpatient and emergency department coding. This role involves medical coding in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, and federal billing guidelines, as well as anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. Proficiency in computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, and Encoder is required. Candidates must be knowledgeable with the 3M/HDS coding application and possess CCS certification.Education Requirement High School Diploma/GED AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCSKnowledge, Skills, Abilities Three years of experience Knowledge of ICD10 Ability to research coding-related issues Competence in coder training Three years of experience Knowledge of ICD10 Ability to research coding-related issues Competence in coder trainingSchedule NotesThis position requires a weekend schedule.
