Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). u2022 Complete account reconciliations and ensure accuracy during month-end close processes. u2022 Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, providing detailed feedback and solutions. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support departmental goals and streamline workflows. u2022 Oversee and manage manual billing processes, ensuring timely and precise execution across various billing cycles. u2022 Analyze financial data for business units to identify trends and provide actionable insights. u2022 Participate in process improvement initiatives, including documentation updates and efficiency enhancements. u2022 Support the finance team in meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality work. u2022 Assist in training team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial procedures. u2022 Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by management. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. u2022 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. u2022 Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and formulas. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate financial deliverables. u2022 Solid understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes. u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members. u2022 Familiarity with US accounting standards and practices.
