Desired Certifications + CCURE 9000 Technical or Administrator Certification (or equivalent ACS certification) Vendor-issued or recognized certification demonstrating advanced proficiency in enterprise access control system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. + Genetec Certification (Security Center Operator, Technician, or equivalent) Certification validating hands-on expertise with video management systems, access control integration, and incident investigation workflows within Genetec or comparable platforms. + Security Operations / Physical Security Professional Certification One or more of the following (or equivalent): + Certified Protection Professional (CPP) + Physical Security Professional (PSP) + Vendor or industry-recognized certification related to security operations centers (SOC), physical security technology, or guard force management systems (e.g., TrackTik). + Emergency Management / Incident Command Certifications Completion of FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) / ICS coursework (e.g., ICSu00bf100, ICSu00bf200, ICSu00bf300, ICSu00bf400, ISu00bf700, ISu00bf800) or equivalent emergency management, crisis response, or EOC operations certification. JOB DESCRIPTION Corporate Security Manager Salary Grade: G04 Minimum Midpoint Maximum $110,004 - $148,506 - $187,007 This position is covered by NERC CIP cyber security standards. Prior to being hired, promoted, or transferred into the position, the candidate must successfully pass a Personnel Risk Assessment, which includes identity verification and a criminal background check. Prior to being granted unescorted access to cyber secure areas, the candidate must attend cyber security training. Annual cyber security training is also required. SUMMARY: Advising business leaders with the development and implementation of appropriate physical and personnel security risk management, this position has security accountabilities for all physical security processes. Works closely with the Human Resources, Facilities, Safety, Risk Management, business unit leadership, department heads and supervisors to enhance physical security risk management capabilities by utilizing effective security risk management practices and tools. Assumes responsibility for ensuring that physical security has appropriately addressed risk, providing reliable, complete, and timely reporting of physical security intelligence, risks and strategies. Maintain an internal awareness of security threats, trends and opportunities pertaining to physical internal control systems and risk management programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and directs the development and delivery of physical security strategies, standards, resources and activities Develops and delivers allNERC CIP compliance materials related to physical security, and physical security access controls. Delivers strategies and tactics to ensure the availability of personnel to preserve and protect employees, property, and facilities while minimizing exposure to revenue and workplace violence prevention Develops and leads the enterprise security intelligence, personnel security, crime prevention and emergency response programs, in coordination with Crisis management Partners with Safety department to ensure facility and employee safety plans and training are implemented, to include fire alarm and fire drill oversight, emergency medical services and training, and supplying staff and guard force with necessary emergency services supplies. Manage corporate and facilities guard force contract, deliverables and operations Collaboratively develops and maintains standards and approaches for site physical and personnel security assessments and budgets, and prioritizes improvements based on the risk, and facility criticality Provides primary direction and support for physical security compliance and regulatory standards Maintains the design and integrity of Access Control Systems and coordinates with necessary departments or agencies to ensure compliance, and reliable operation Represents company interests at incident command and/or emergency operation centers Investigates incidents of workplace violence, insider threat, thefts and damage to company, contractor, and employee property and works with Human Resources, employees, management and law enforcement agencies to document incident reports for risk and recovery Develops and maintains strong relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in all company service territories to ensure emergency preparedness enforcement and to facilitate timely response, good will, and availability of off-duty resources. Maintains strong technical expertise in physical security industry, striving for professional certification and recognition in the profession Reviews vulnerability assessments for all critical company properties and develops site specific security and remediation plans Provides security awareness training, and trains and qualifies security personnel using technical, professional and industry resources; ensures that state certifications and legal requirements for corporate security are met and maintained Leads design and implementation of corporate use of force program Departmental budget and cost management COMPETENCIES: Ability to be flexible and adaptable Ability to understand complex legal constructs, compliance obligations, and industry principles Ability to influence others Ability to provide ongoing physical security intelligence and guidance to the business Ability to identify mitigation plans and lead/coordinate with cross-functional teams Ability to prioritize, schedule, organize, and complete assignments Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in volatile situations Ability to mentor and train team members Experience developing and operating a Security Operations Center QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or greater in business administration, security management, criminal justice, or related discipline, with seven to nine years of related experience in the security field or criminal justice field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certified Protection Professional certification or relative security certifications are strongly preferred. Current U.S. Government clearance at the TS/SCI full scope poly or ability and willingness to obtain preferred SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises professional and support staff; assigns and directs work; monitors workload and productivity; appraises performance; promotes staff training and development; provides assistance in analyzing and resolving problems.
