Job Summary: Provide support to WSHS Recuperative Care (RC) through direct guest services such as transportation, laundry services, room cleaning, and social check-ins. Perform basic medical tasks when needed and support guests to meet their health goals. Essential Functions: Culture and Values u00b7 Share the Good News of Jesus Christ in words and actions with people we serve, communicating hope and dignity. u00b7 Walk alongside fellow WSM staff in Christian community as we journey toward maturity. u00b7 Encourage restoration in the lives of coworkers and guests, recognizing we are each restored by God to become restorers. u00b7 Work in full coordination with other WSM staff always to identify, report and respond appropriately to any potential threats to the safety and wellbeing of guests. Role Specific Responsibilities u00b7 Provide orientation of WSM and RC services for new guests. u00b7 Develop rapport and a supportive therapeutic relationship with guests to encourage them to meet their health goals and foster a healing environment. u00b7 Obtain basic vital signs and assist in triaging next steps regarding medical events when needed. u00b7 Provide transportation to and from medical and social service appointments. u00b7 Provide RC administrative support. u00b7 Assist with restocking supplies in RC rooms. u00b7 Deliver meals for guests when needed. u00b7 Maintain a trauma-informed approach to care and interactions with guests. u00b7 Collaborate with and support WSM life coach and social services team. u00b7 Document promptly and appropriately in Salesforce and/or EPIC. u00b7 Assist with room cleaning, laundry, and trash removal on a regular basis and as needed. u00b7 Provide u201cwarm hand offu201d referrals to other staff (internally or externally) whenever possible. u00b7 Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
