Our mission is to give children an exceptional education in a nurturing environment—every fun-filled day.Preschool Lead Teacher Qualifications:Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, PreferredBachelor's Degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Education Special Education Child Development with a focus of study on Birth to 2nd grade or Nursery Child PsychologyNYS certification (or planning to receive certification) in the following areas: Nursery to 6th grade Birth to 2nd grade, Students with Disabilities - birth to 2nd gradeMust be at least 18 years oldMust meet all state preschool teacher requirementsHigh level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hoursDemonstrated classroom management skillsPreschool Lead Teacher Job Responsibilities:A Preschool Teacher will accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and will work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all children within the centerDocument and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s dayCollaborate with other passionate preschool teachers and leaders to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculumRespect and observe children's interests. Intervene when needed to maintain safety.
