Responsibilities: u2022 Process and manage bi-weekly payroll, maintaining accurate records for employee hours and wages. u2022 Monitor and update employee vacation balances, sick leave, and payouts. u2022 Handle accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. u2022 Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with external accounting firms to assist with quarterly reporting and tax filings. u2022 Manage electronic filing of payroll tax submissions and workersu2019 compensation reports. u2022 Maintain and organize customer account files, including billing and payment activities. u2022 Oversee the annual healthcare insurance enrollment process and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. u2022 Prepare monthly internal financial statements and contribute to annual external reporting processes. u2022 Review and audit vendor invoices and recurring utility bills to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. u2022 At least 7 years of experience in bookkeeping, with proficiency in full charge bookkeeping processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of QuickBooks for managing financial transactions and records. u2022 Experience in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. u2022 Proven ability to perform bank reconciliations with attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. u2022 Familiarity with payroll systems and reporting requirements. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
