We are hiring an InfraredSensor Systems Testing & Integration Engineer at LockheedMartin, who will support two to three major production programs and several development efforts. Our team delivers high performance infrared sensor solutions for critical defense platforms, and youu2019ll play a key role in ensuring those systems work reliably from the lab to the field. What You Will Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: u2022 Develop and maintain detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules for infrared sensor hardware. u2022 Set up and operate laboratory equipment such as function generators, power supplies, temperature controllers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers. u2022 Build, modify, and integrate sensor prototypes, including firmware and software drivers. u2022 Execute functional, environmental, and performance tests; capture, analyze, and interpret data. u2022 Automate test sequences and data processing using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, SQL, Java, or HTML. u2022 Generate clear test reports, traceability matrices, and recommendations for design improvements. u2022 Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. u2022 Support production units by qualifying new builds, updating test documentation, and providing technical guidance to manufacturing. u2022 Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and suppliers to ensure test activities align with schedule and cost objectives. u2022 Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a STEM field with 3+ years work experience, or Masters degree in a STEM field with 1+ years work experience u2022 Experience coding in a scripting language to include any of the following: MATLAB, C, C++, SQL, Java, HTML, or Python u2022 Hands on experience designing or testing in a laboratory setting (function generators, power supplies, temperature controllers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers) u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550.
