Description Our client, a fast-growing, nationally recognized, e-commerce marketplace, is currently looking to hire an Assistant Controller to join their team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that partners closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and build best-in-class processes. Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and the month-end close process u00b7 Lead and optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles to ensure timely, accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting u00b7 Prepare and review financial statements while researching and applying technical accounting guidance u00b7 Partner with FP& A on management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and board-level materials u00b7 Strengthen internal controls, support audit and tax processes, and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors u00b7 Drive process and system improvements (including ERP implementations and automation) while supporting cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects For immediate consideration please email u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field u00b7 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a background in private and public accounting u00b7 Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience in e-commerce environment is a plus u00b7 Proven track record of improving processes and implementing controls u00b7 Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills u00b7 Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels u00b7 Prior involvement in ERP implementations or system migrations is a plus Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
