Description A well-regarded law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Trust & Estates Legal Assistant to support attorneys in estate planning, probate, and related matters. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong organizational and client service skills. Key Responsibilities u2022 Drafts and revises correspondence and estate planning documents u2022 Manages and tracks original estate documents in accordance with firm procedures; maintains accurate database records u2022 Prepares and compiles exhibits for Orphansu2019 Court filings, family settlement agreements, and related matters u2022 Coordinates attorney calendars, deadlines, calls, and meetings u2022 Handles administrative tasks including expense reports, check requests, and client communications u2022 Prepares mailings and coordinates large document productions u2022 Assists with entity formations and basic corporate transactions (e.g., formations, mergers, dissolutions) u2022 Maintains and organizes physical and electronic client files; opens and closes matters u2022 Provides general administrative and team support as needed Qualifications u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction u2022 Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail u2022 Knowledge of estate planning documents, probate, and estate administration processes u2022 Familiarity with Orphansu2019 Court procedures preferred u2022 Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-volume environment u2022 High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, and document management systems (iManage preferred) u2022 Experience with redlining and document formatting tools is a plus u2022 Strong aptitude for learning new systems and technologies Education & Experience u2022 High school diploma required; college degree preferred u2022 Minimum 2+ years of legal administrative experience, ideally within a law firm u2022 Prior experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration strongly preferred Requirements Orphan Court Filings, Estate Planning, Probate & Estate Administration Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
