Job Title

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Set up, adjust and operate designed bindery andconverting equipment. Read and interpret written job tickets or otherjob specifications containing product requirements. Correctly identifyraw materials to be converted. Communicate with supply person and loadhauler to have materials on hand. Ensures that production goals are met.Troubleshoots problems to maintain quality standards and to keepequipment in running condition request maintenance as required. Examinesproduct frequently to ensure that it meets customer qualityspecifications. Pulls and inspects run samples and notifies Supervisionin the event quality standards are not being met. Stack and labelcartons in proper configuration and on proper pallets. Cleans andmaintains assigned machine to ensure its optimum operation. May runother equipment as assigned by the Supervisor. Adheres to and promotesall safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to theproper handling of waste, lock out tag out rules, housekeeping, andhearing and eye protection policies. Performs other related duties andparticipates in special projects as assigned. OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in operating binderyequipment or converting equipment is preferred. Must be able to work ina team environment. Ability to work 12 hour shifts Ability to work theassigned shift Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50lbs. during the 12 hour shift.
