Job Description Cultivation Tech I is an entry level position that maintains and completes daily projects assigned by the Cultivation Manager/Supervisor. This position will be responsible for assisting in all areas of grow operations to include potting, manicuring, and harvesting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Assists with grow operations including cleaning, daily activities, quality assurance, potting, manicuring, and harvesting. * Cleans in and around cultivation areas daily, including but not limited to floors, walls, tables, equipment and sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, sanitizing. * Follows compliance procedures mandated by the state licensing requirements. * Maintains open communication with the management team and other co-workers. * Maintains a professional attitude towards coworkers and management. * Follows operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties. * Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner * Completes assigned tasks, projects, and expectations in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives. * Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications * Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check * Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations * Self-Motivated * Ability to multitask * Organizational skills * Ability to stay focused * Must be a team player with a can do attitude * Positive attitude and strong work ethic * Available to work weekends and holidays * Reliable transportation * Must be able to work in 80+ and humid environment Education and Experience Requirements * High School degree or equivalent Physical Requirements * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times * The ability to respond quickly to sounds * The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces * The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations * The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day * The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time * The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions * The ability to work in high CO2 environments * The ability to use a half face respirator * The ability to complete fine motor functions * The ability to work in low light situations * Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity * Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals * Must be able to go up and down a ladder repeatedly.
