Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders. Minimum Requirements: + Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Pay Details Position Types: + Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) u2013 Local + Pay Rate: $75/hour + Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,812.50 + Overtime: 1.5x + Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) u2013 Travel - Pay Packages built upon request + Overtime: 1.5x Speech-Language Pathologist u2013 School + Openings: 2 + Hours per Week: 37.5 + Contract Length: 38 weeks + Start Date: September 1, 2026 Assignment Information + Primarily elementary support needed + Candidate preference and experience will be considered + Caseload capped at approximately 55 students Interview Process + Interview with SPED Director + Format: Zoom or in person Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
