Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator 2 to join their team. As a Machine Operator 2, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator 2 Location: Burgaw, NC Pay Range: $19.50 Shift : 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30pm - 2 am) Friday OT as needed. What's the Job? + Operate a variety of simple machines to manufacture ventilation or specialty products. + Ensure work areas are set up for safety and efficiency, maintaining optimal workflow. + Monitor quality of materials and finished parts, recommending corrections to reduce scrap. + Track daily production and equipment downtime using control sheets and reports. + Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment as needed. What's Needed? + High School Diploma or GED required. + Minimum of 3 months of prior manufacturing experience. + Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. + Strong attention to detail and reliability. + Willingness to follow safety procedures and complete required training.
