Description We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to join our team in Bolingbrook, Illinois, on a long-term contract basis within the manufacturing industry. This role focuses on overseeing the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS, ensuring strong governance and successful delivery across internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach, demonstrating expertise in managing project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead day-to-day management of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, ensuring project goals are met. u2022 Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress across all teams and stakeholders. u2022 Coordinate with external vendors and partners, such as Eque2, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration. u2022 Oversee budget tracking and ensure financial alignment with project objectives. u2022 Facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and resolve any project-related issues. u2022 Manage system build activities, including change requests and preparation for walkthroughs. u2022 Provide executive-level reporting and updates on project status, risks, and progress. u2022 Ensure compliance with governance practices and quality standards throughout the implementation process. u2022 Lead both onsite and remote resources to maintain project momentum. u2022 Monitor and manage dependencies to avoid delays in project delivery. Requirements u2022 Extensive experience in ERP/CRM project management, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS. u2022 Strong ability to coordinate and manage external vendors and implementation partners. u2022 Proven expertise in developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and governance documentation. u2022 Familiarity with construction-focused verticals and BC add-ons such as Avalara, product configurators, and field service tools. u2022 Hands-on experience with system builds, walkthroughs, and change request management. u2022 Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with both remote and onsite teams. u2022 Background in API development, client-side scripting, and configuration management. u2022 Proficiency in Salesforce development and business requirement documentation.
